Conference and Retreat Agent

A very important part of our mission is to educate people by sending professionally trained Healing the Culture speakers and retreat leaders to conferences and retreats across the country and around the world. Our speakers deliver keynotes, workshops, and seminars. Our retreat leaders can do retreats for adults, college students, high school students, pro-life professionals, and Mother/Daughter retreats (our favorite!)

You can learn a lot more about these two educational ministries by clicking on the "retreats" and "speakers" tabs under "Services" in the menu above. You can also click on "LifeQuest!" under the "Services", "Retreats" heading to learn about our special teen retreats.

Conference and Retreat Agents are persons who help us by actively pursuing opportunities to bring Healing the Culture speakers in to a local conference, or to arrange for a Healing the Culture retreat. As an agent, you can make recommendations to local organizations which host conferences or retreats. They are always on the "lookout" for good speakers and new topics, and are usually very grateful when they learn about new talent.

So, for example, you might contact your local Right to Life office, a Pregnancy Resource Center, a large church or diocesan organization, a school, or a professional organization, and request that they have a Healing the Culture speaker at their next conference.

Similarly, you might contact the religious education director or pastor at your church and tell them about our LifeQuest! retreats for youth, or suggest a Healing the Culture speaker or retreat leader for a Confirmation retreat, an annual high school retreat, an adult retreat, or a special Mother/Daughter retreat. We work with the hosting organization to plug our speakers into a pre-existing retreat, or to create an entire retreat for them, depending on their desires.

It is most effective to arrange a personal meeting and bring a special notebook with printed pages from this website. See the page on "Church-and-School Liaison" in this volunteer section of the website to learn more about how to create a portfolio notebook.
