Retreats

General Information

The staff of Healing the Culture has over 13 years of combined professional experience successfully designing and leading "Life Principles" pro-life retreats in a variety of settings. Our retreats are widely acclaimed in the United States and Canada by youth and adults, Protestant and Catholic. We've conducted retreats for as many as 500 people, and as few as five.

Structure.
Healing the Culture retreats offer an engaging and valuable blend of teaching, reflection, group activities, worship, leisure, prayer devotions, music ministry, service projects, relaxation, and recreation. Some groups like a fun, uplifting, and very active, fast-paced retreat. Others prefer a much more contemplative environment, making use of silent meditation, private reflection, and extended periods of free time. Still others want a mixture of the two. Hosting organizations are welcome to work with our team to custom design a unique program which meets their special goals.

Schedule.
Schedules are very flexible, depending on the hosting organization's requirements. We offer partial-day, daylong, and multiple-day retreats. Sponsors may request weekends or weekdays. Alternatively, our professional leaders can simply provide talks at a pre-designed retreats.

Content.
All of our retreats incorporate the themes of the Life Principles pro-life curricula written by our founder, Rev. Robert J. Spitzer. The purpose of any Life Principles retreat is to help individuals deeply integrate worthy and profound understandings of happiness, love, freedom, suffering, and human dignity through the "Three E's": education, exercise, and experience.
